In 1974, the Columbia Theological Seminary publication titled Inform changed to Vantage. Vantage initially included a newsletter and a five-part catalog series that replaced the course catalog. The catalog series changed to a single course catalog in 1976. The course catalog was dropped from Vantage in 1986 and published separately. Vantage continued as a news publication whose format and frequency varied.
